Good morning Fredonia, Jon Carlson here on the blog for the last time of
the season. Would just like to thank all our fans out there that have
been with us all year. This is the last week of classes then exams next week.
Looking forward to getting home and seeing my family and friends. That
being said I'm going to miss my roommates, Hunter Long, Marcus Ortiz, and
Frankie Hart as they are graduating in 10 days or so.
As always, enjoy your day and better yet your summer.
Nick Harper here checking in
with unfortunately my last blog post of the year. Thank you for everyone
who has been following our blog this year, all of the fellas here
I've been having not the best
luck recently when it comes to the professional sports world. Granted
the Ducks had a nice first round series sweet against the flames which
was nice. However they lost a tough battle against the Edmonton Oilers Wednesday
night game 1. Hoping for a nice bounce back tonight for game 2. For my
baseball team the Mets, saying they are struggling would be an
understatement. Just 1-9 in there last 10 games with some key players
battling injuries. Gotta stay positive here though, good thing they play
162 games so plenty of time to bounce back.
That time of
year, one week left of classes and then exam week following that. If
anyone needs to reach me I'll be typing papers in the library probably
everyday until I get to go home.
Thanks again everyone who has been reading and I'll talk to you in the fall!
I hope everyone is enjoying
there week so far! I know I sure am as it was about 68-70 degrees here
in Fredonia and its about time were are getting some nice weather. It is
definitely started to feel like spring time around here and just a
touch of summer.
As the days go by, I have
really taken some time and reflected on my time here in Fredonia. It
feels like just yesterday I arrived on campus my freshmen year bringing
all my stuff up to the third floor dorms. lets just say it was very hot
out that day and a t-shirt change was a must after that haul. the time
really does fly by when you having fun with a great group of guys which
turned into family for me. I just want to take this time to thank
everyone that made my experience here in Fredonia a one I will never
forget. Also to all the boys who I played with over my career here, you
will never be forgotten.
Lastly I just want to say that I can't believe in 17 days
I'm going to be graduating, and I must say I'm very excited but also
very nervous for what the future holds. nervous in a good way of course.
Jamie Young checking in once again for todays edition of the blog.
always, the end of the semester is coming fast and all the boys are
working hard to stay on top of their work in the classroom as well as
the gym. Its been a great spring in a number of ways. All the guys have
been working especially hard in the gym this spring already setting our
sights on the ultimate prize for next year. I am excited to see how this
hard work translates over to the summer and continues until the fall
when everyone returns to campus.
It is crazy
to think that this will be my last summer before hitting the full-time
workforce - really makes you appreciate the luxuries we experience here
at school. I am excited for what the world hold for me, but man will I
miss playing with 25 of my closest friends day in and day out. In the
mean time though, I am going to enjoy every last second I have - bleed
every drop of fun!!
Hello hockey fans, summer is approaching and we only have 3 more weeks
left of school. The weather is shaping up and the sun has made some more
sporadic appearances allowing for the boys to hit the links and also
spend some more time outside. We also have the pleasure to have a former
Blue Devil among us until next Monday.
Damien Kulynych was finally able to come make the trip from Calgary,
Alberta. Damo was an incoming freshman the same year as me so it is
really nice for me and the other Juniors to see him again.
Sadly a big final paper is calling my name so I better get to work on that. Until next time !
all! Dunner back on the blog, and boy is time winding down on my
freshman year. With the end of school near my mind has shifted to school
mode and concentrating on my grades. Trying to tune then up in the last
month. With the season over and school coming to a close, I can't thank
my teammates and coaches enough for making this year unbelievable and
unforgettable. Well not much else to say folks. That's all for now.
Good afternoon Fredonia, this is Jon Carlson back on the blog. I was able
to watch Auston Matthews make history last night in Buffalo. Myself
along with 5 other Devils went up to Buffalo to catch the Sabres vs
Leafs game. Toronto ended up winning 4-2, which made a big Leafs fan
(Jacob Haynes) night worth while. As I mentioned earlier we were able to
watch the leafs 2016 1st overall pick, Auston Matthews, set/break
scoring records by an American born rookie forward. In other news, only
about another month left of classes before exams so final projects and
exams are soon approaching. Thanks for reading, hopefully this rain will
leave us alone for a few days.
